San Francisco Chronicle Bronze Medal Winner. This is a Zinfandel Rosé from the Sblendorio Vineyard in our Livermore Valley Community with a small amount of local Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blended in for additional crispness to the wine. This boutique wine has hints of strawberry, guava, and kiwi. The Zinfandel Grapes were pressed within a couple hours after being picked. The next step was barrel fermentation, then aged roughly 8 months in neutral French Oak Barrels. This winemaking process and perfect blending resulted in a fine wine with crisp characteristics, enjoyable white stone fruit flavors with a delightful strawberry finish. Refreshing on its own.
